This is adorable. And such a great whimsical print. Soft yellow day dress with the sweetest novelty print of little suitcases and flowers. Very sweet fit with lots of fun details. Bodice has short sleeves and an empire bustline trimmed in bright green piping. It has a v-neck with four decorative covered green buttons to the front and small gathers to the underbust to give fullness. Wide fitted waistband with a matching slim belt. Very full skirt with a tiered ruffle hem, trimmed with a matching band in green and a small off-to-the-side bow. Side metal "lightning" zipper fastener. Fabric feels like a soft brushed rayon, texture and weight is not dissimilar to cotton, just slightly softer and with a very subtly slubbier weave. No makers labels. Approx late 50s or possibly early 60s era. Love this!
